What We Do
The resource Development Department assists HCC administrators, faculty, and staff engaged in student support services, teaching and learning activities, community outreach and service projects, and institutional development to:
- Identify sources of funding
- Create an effective project design
- Prepare competitive proposal narratives
- Prepare proposal budgets
- Obtain institutional review and approvals for proposals
- Prepare forms and certifications to meet federal and state requirements
- Submit proposals to funding agency
When an award is made, the Resource Development Department provides assistance as needed regarding post-award issues, including contract negotiation, consultant and sub-recipient agreements, and budget requisitions.
